Sisyrinchium idahoense var. bellum is a lovely little evergreen perennial only getting to about 15-20 cm in height. Grass like foliage and dainty blue flowers with bright yellow centre. Great for a rockery, front of flower border or containers. Very low maintenance
Cultivation
Grow in full sun or part shade (mine gets morning sun and then is in dappled shade all afternoon and is fine) fertile moist but well drained soil.
Divide in spring and it will self seed around the garden for you
