From mid to late spring, scented, deep yellow flowers emerge from rosettes of crinkly oval mid-green leaves from which several flower stems are produced, each crowned by a one-sided delicate cluster of long, funnel-shaped blooms, rich yellow and sweetly fragrant.
This much-loved cowslip is undemanding and will naturalise easily, forming wonderful colonies on moist soil. It is perfect for a wildflower garden or meadow.
