Cyclamen pseudibericum
This is a hardy cyclamen with delicate, nodding, pinkish purple flowers that stand proudly above the heart shaped, grey / green marble leaves. Flowers appear in spring, so will light up a dull, shady spot in the garden. They also look great planted in containers.
Common Name
False Iberian Cyclamen
Height and Spread
0.1m x 0.1m
Cultivation
These cyclamen are from the woodlands of the Mediterranean and prefer a dry, shady / part shady spot. They naturalise well under trees.
They require little to no maintenance - but can be attached my mice or rabbits. When dormant during the summer months they like to stay dry, so if in containers avoid watering them until the autumn when the temperature drops a little and the amount of rain would be increasing in their natural environment.
