Aster 'Pink Star' is now botanically know as Symphyotrichum 'Pink Star' but I still call them Asters. They are great plants for bringing colour into the garden late summer and well into the autumn / winter depending on how mild it is. Loved by bees and it is also a great cut flower

Cultivation
Best grown in sun or part shade and fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Unlike many asters, this variety is perfectly happy grown in some shade and will tolerate dry soil once established. Good mildew resistance. Tidy up in winter before the new growth starts
