A good addition to the woodland garden or shady area where the white flowers will lighten up the area for weeks. Foliage is deep green and deeply serrated with a slightly rough texture. Flower stems rise in early summer each with several flowers. Colour is white with a pink hue.

    Grow this anemone in moist soil in partial to full shade. Mulch annually with well-rotted manure or leaf mould. Divide congested clumps in spring.Spreads rapidly once established. Avoid winter wet, dislikes being moved around.

    Looks particularly impressive when planted in large swathes in dappled woodland shade.
