Agapanthus 'Brilliant Blue' is a great compact Agapanthus, with green strap like leaves and spikes of sky blue flowers.  Will do well in a sheltered border and I also love Agapanthus in pots.  Loved by bees

    Agapanthus are native to South Africa, so will need a good sunny spot in the garden that is slightly sheltered. Moist but well drained soil, it will not tolerate sitting wet, especially in winter months.

    Seed heads can be left for interest during winter months.  tidy early spring. A winter mulch can help protect the roots.
